Scuba diving is a safe activity. Anyone with a medical history of diabetes, blackouts (epilepsy etc), perforated eardrums, high blood pressure, heart disease, any lung or respiratory disorder or dependence on drugs may not be able to dive safely. If this is the case, specialist advice must be obtained before contemplating taking up this sport.
Every precaution will be taken for the safety of visitors and the club or centre organising the Try Dive reserves the right to terminate the session should there be reason to doubt fitness, ability or suitability to dive.
1) Try Dives are available on the understanding that the person(s) taking part:
a) Considers themselves medically fit and does not suffer from any of the disqualifying conditions mentioned above
b) If medically unfit, has obtained approval to dive from a medical referee, (https://ukdmc.org)
c) Will, in the interests of safety, comply with all instruction given to them by the instructor
d) Is able to swim and is confident in water
2) We do not run try dives for anyone below the age of 12
3) You agree to arrive at least 10 miuntes before your time slot.
4) You can rescheduled your try dive once free of charge, providing this is arranged no later than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment
5) Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment or forfeiture of payment
6) Missed appointments or appointments cancelled within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of payment
7) We reserve the right to reschedule a booking due to unforseen circumstances out of our control, including but not limited to as pool closures or instructor illness.
8) Gift vouchers are non refundable and have no cash value.
